Egypt Consulate – Notarisation, Attestation And Legalisation Of Documents For Egypt

Documents to be used in Egypt need to be legalised at the Egyptian consulate. We can assist and manage the entire process for you.

For information on a Visa of Egypt you can find that on the Consulate website here. Please be aware that the Consulate no longer accept cash as payment for a Visa for Egypt.

Document Legalisation

Documents usually need to be Notarised, then stamped with an Apostille by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and finally submitted to the Egyptian Consulate.

Commercial Documents such as Certificates from Companies House or Commercial Powers of Attorney need additional Stamping at the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce.

Our Notarisation and Legalisation services can bypass the need for an Apostille from the UK FCDO and instead obtain Egyptian Embassy attestation stamps directly after our Notarisation. This can save you time and money.

Please note that with personal Powers of Attorney that involve a large financial transaction, or purchase or sale of a property in Egypt, will require the signatory to appear at the Consulate or meet with an official to complete the attestation process. We can still assist with facilitating this for you.

Educational Documents

University Degrees issued in the UK need to be verified by the Egyptian Cultural Centre and Education Bureau and attested at the Egyptian Consulate. The good news is that we can manage all these steps for you. Our service means you will not have to appear in person at both of these places saving your further time and money.
